New CDS service from Aranco: digital wrapping process control

In many companies, the wrapping process still lacks the level of control required by today's environment. Some companies barely monitor it; others do so partially, using manual methods, Excel sheets or visual checks. But in both cases, the lack of traceability usually leads to the same result:

  • The actual cost per wrapped pallet is unknown.
  • Film is wasted.
  • Errors are accepted without being detected in time.
  • It is impossible to know whether the most cost-effective or efficient film is being used.
  • Opportunities to improve margins, reduce incidents or strengthen commitment to sustainability are lost.

At Aranco, we have been leading the automation and digitisation of the end of line for years through our WaaS and Dos services, providing our customers with full access to their wrapping data via the Client Web online platform.

Today, we are taking another step forward.

We are launching the new Control and Data Service (CDS): a solution for companies that already work with their own wrapping machines and films but want to incorporate the precision, traceability and optimisation provided by Aranco's technology.

An advanced control system and accurate knowledge of the real cost per pallet to enable decisions based on real data.

Precise knowledge of the wrapping process for smart and profitable decisions

The CDS service incorporates Aranco's Capture** device into the customer's wrapping machines, recording the exact film consumption in metres and allowing daily monitoring of the Target Cost per Pallet.

This device captures all key wrapping process data:

  • Actual cost per pallet
  • Number of film wraps applied
  • Metres of film consumed
  • Rolls with inefficient performance
  • Productivity per wrapping machine, shift and centre
  • Deviations from the standard

All this data is integrated into our Client Web online platform, facilitating decision-making based on real data, not assumptions.

Connect your packaging to your ERP and Dashboards

How much time would you save if your wrapping machines could communicate directly with your management system?

Thanks to API integration, our CDS service automatically incorporates all wrapping process data —cost per pallet, metres used, wraps applied— into your management systems (ERP, BI or Dashboards).

Fewer errors, more time for what matters.

Key advantages of the CDS service

  • Constant monitoring: daily display of film consumption per pallet, wraps applied, metres used and productivity per machine or shift.
  • Guaranteed quality: control of pre-stretch and film performance to ensure load stability.
  • Deviation correction: automatic notifications of any inefficiencies.
  • Total end-of-line control: complete overview that goes beyond traditional ERP systems.

CDS: a new way to control the industrial wrapping process

With CDS, you can turn your current process into a source of data, savings and continuous improvement.

This service allows any company to take advantage of our wrapping control technology without having to change wrapping machines or film suppliers.

It is a solution designed to improve efficiency, reduce errors and maximise the profitability of the packaging process.
