Aranco has been awarded the "From waste to resources: zero to landfill" certificate by Saica Natur for our environmental waste management.
This certificate, issued by Saica Natur in collaboration with TÜV SÜV as a verifying entity, distinguishes companies firmly committed to sustainability and, specifically, those that meet the highest quality standards in waste recovery and in achieving the goal of zero waste to landfill.
At Aranco, we strive to make our production processes more efficient and to ensure that the waste we produce is recovered.

In fact, obtaining this Zero to landfill seal certifies that we manage to recycle more than 95% of the waste we generate.
The aim is to find alternatives to landfill so that waste can have a second life as secondary raw material, remaining as long as possible in the production cycle and thus minimising the environmental impact.
Our firm determination to be the company that leads the transition of the industrial packaging sector towards sustainability is reflected in the achievement of this recognition.
We are the first company in the industrial packaging sector to obtain this certification in Spain.
This milestone joins our recent Sustainability Report, which was also the first published in the industrial packaging services sector.
As stated in our Sustainability Report, we are firmly committed to the use of sustainable and recycled materials in all our processes.
In fact, circular economy is one of Aranco's hallmarks, since our origins we have maintained circularity as an environmental criterion and it has marked our business model, as well as the design and differentiation of our products and services.
This new certification is further recognition of the work carried out over the last few years, in a sector such as the end-of-line and baling sector in which we are leading the transformation to a more sustainable scenario that respects the environment and people.
It should be added that this responsible management project is part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and, specifically, SDG 12 (responsible production and consumption) and SDG 13 (climate action), goals that we at Aranco have adopted as strategic.
