2025 Sustainability Report

This document is far more than a report; it reflects our motto..., ‘Service for a better world’, and everything we have done this year to ensure our business model becomes increasingly sustainable, efficient and innovative.

All these initiatives are set out in our Sustainability Master Plan and contribute directly to the delivery of our 2022–2026 Strategic Plan.

That is why, once again this year, we are sharing with our stakeholders the progress, achievements and lessons learnt that underpin our understanding of sustainability: real, measurable and aligned with the major social and environmental challenges of our time.

Sustainability fully integrated into the business

At Aranco, we embed sustainability into the very core of our organisation and business model.

Proof of this lies in the sustainability milestones we have achieved in 2025:

Since January 2025, all the electricity we consume has come from 100 per cent certified renewable sources, meaning our carbon footprint from electricity consumption is zero.
We have brought forward our target to decarbonise our electricity consumption by one year.
We have had our carbon footprint for the years 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 verified by EQA España, confirming a steady and significant reduction, with a cumulative reduction from 2022 to 2025 of nearly 50 per cent.
32 per cent of our electricity consumption comes from our own solar power plant and the remaining 68 per cent from certified renewable energy purchased on the market.
96 per cent of our corporate car fleet is hybrid or electric.
We have obtained efr certification (balance, flexibility, responsibility).
98.36 per cent of our contracts are permanent, reinforcing our social commitment to the people who make up Aranco.
100 per cent of the funding for our investments has come from sustainable funds or funds linked to sustainability indicators.
We have renewed our ‘Zero to Landfill’ accreditation for the third consecutive year, with over 99 per cent of our waste recycled or used for energy recovery.
We have refurbished 118 wrapping machines to extend their useful life, 40 per cent more than in 2024.

Innovating to move towards a more sustainable model

At Aranco, sustainability and innovation go hand in hand. Only in this way can we continue to move forward and improve our processes and products.

In 2025, our investment in R&D&I reached €130,870, and these are some of the most notable advances:

Our Employee Innovation Suggestion Box, an active channel for gathering innovative ideas from our staff, continues to bear fruit and yield interesting contributions.
We have launched our 5-micron film, which is already being used by major clients in sectors such as logistics, food distribution and textiles.
We have developed the new version of our autonomous mobile AGV wrapping machine, capable of operating in confined logistics environments without human intervention, the result of our collaboration with Toyota.
Our Security Master Plan (PDSeg) is now underway, aimed at strengthening the security framework and information governance across the entire Aranco Group.
We have launched the Smart Office project with the aim of advancing the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the Group’s operations in an ethical, secure, responsible and orderly manner.

Commitment to the environment and recognition

For us, sustainability also means creating a positive impact in the communities where we operate. Proof of this is the strengthening of our partnerships with two Valencian organisations: Xabec and the Felisa Foundation.

A year full of milestones that reinforce our commitment to a better world, and which we are proud to see recognised:

SME Finalist in the 9th edition of the Alliance for Dual Vocational Training Award in Spain.
Expansión and IFEMA Madrid SME Award in the Environment category.

A model that delivers value to the customer

In 2025, we consolidated our subsidiaries in France and Germany, strengthening our position as a European group.

All this is achieved through our business model, which helps our customers optimise and manage their packaging; which makes us a unique partner for our customers.

Because, thanks to our products and services, our customers achieve substantial reductions in plastic use, with less waste generated and lower emissions:

Less waste and wastage
Thinner-gauge films
High-end wrapping machines manufactured in Spain to ensure durability and ease of repair
Lower transport emissions
Better technical support with fewer site visits
Greater digitalisation, productivity and cost savings
