Connect and automate your end-of-line process without major investment

Automating the end-of-line process does not necessarily mean replacing all your equipment or making a major investment in new machinery. The key lies in ensuring that the various solutions can be connected and work in a coordinated manner within the same process.

Furthermore, every plant starts from a different situation. Some companies are looking for a comprehensive solution that automates the transport and wrapping process for pallets, whilst others have already invested in AGVs, AMRs, palletisers, labellers or other systems and need to integrate the wrapping process into that automation.

At Aranco, we offer a range of solutions to automate the wrapping process and adapt to the specific requirements of each end-of-line operation. And, thanks to our Pallet Wrapping as a Service (WaaS), you can incorporate our wrapping machines without having to make an investment.

In this video, we show you two different ways of doing this.

Two solutions for automating the wrapping process

There is no single way to move towards an automated end-of-line process. The solution will depend on each plant’s operations, the equipment available, the required capacity and the existing level of automation.

That is why, at Aranco, we offer alternatives both for companies seeking an integral solution and for those wishing to make the most of the automated systems they already have in place.

Quadriga: wrapping machine and AGV in a single solution

Quadriga is a stand-alone, patented solution that combines an Aranco automatic wrapping machine with a Toyota AGV and a four-position infeed and outfeed system.

The result is a system capable of managing the transport and wrapping process for palletised goods in a fully unattended manner, integrating both processes into a single solution.

Quadriga:

  • Wraps up to 40 pallets per hour in a fully unattended manner.
  • It occupies a floor area of just 7 × 9 metres.
  • No structural work is required for its installation.
  • It can achieve savings of up to 45 per cent compared with conventional wrapping processes.
  • It can match the output of three semi-automatic, man-operated machines.

A solution particularly suited to companies looking to increase the capacity and productivity of their end-of-line operations and move towards more autonomous operations.

Do you already have AGVs? Connect them to our wrapping machines.

In other cases, automation is already underway.

If your company has AGVs, AMRs, palletisers, labellers or other automated systems, you do not necessarily have to replace them to incorporate the wrapping process into the process.

Aranco’s automatic wrapping machines are designed to communicate and integrate with the systems that are already part of your end-of-line process, enabling you to automate the wrapping process and coordinate it with the movement of the pallet.

This allows you to:

  • Make the most of the investment you have already made in automation.
  • Maintain greater independence from manufacturers, without limiting your choice of AGVs or AMRs to the wrapping machine.
  • Reduce implementation times by building on the existing infrastructure.
  • Improve productivity and reduce the need for manual intervention.
  • Advance the digitalisation of the end-of-line process by incorporating real-time data from the wrapping process.

This way, you can continue to evolve towards a more automated plant without having to start from scratch.

Automate without making an investment in wrapping machines with WaaS

Whether you need a comprehensive solution such as Quadriga or wish to connect an Aranco wrapping machine to your AGVs or AMRs, there is another important aspect: you do not need to make an investment in the wrapping machine itself.

With our Pallet Wrapping as a Service (WaaS), Aranco provides the necessary equipment and you pay only for the film you use, with no investment or fees for the wrapping machines.

In addition to the equipment, the service includes maintenance, technical support, data and continuous optimisation of the wrapping process.

This way, you can incorporate state-of-the-art technology into your end-of-line operations and advance your automation with a model tailored to your operations.
